Family a focus for 2019 Hampden league grand finalist North Warrnambool Eagles

Matt, Adam and Luke Wines, Sam and Joe McKinnon and Sam and Tom James will represent the Eagles against Koroit as the club targets its first Hampden league senior premiership.

The Wines trio and James twins played in the Eagles' first senior decider in 2016 while the McKinnon siblings will make their grand final debuts.

Matthew Wines, a veteran of more than 250 games, is the most experienced of the contingent.

He wants to help will deliver a long overdue flag to the Bushfield-based club.

"I am probably not going to get too many more chances, so it is probably all on the line for me this weekend," Matthew said.

"I am probably not going to have too many more goes at it so we'll come out and give it our best."

Midfielder Matthew said he'd watched his two younger siblings become strong senior footballers.

"It's great to play with them and see them develop on the way through," he said.

"If anyone gets a chance to play with their brother they're obviously going to love it."

Midfielder Sam James, who has overcome a shoulder injury to regain his spot for the decider, said the family ties were "fantastic for the club".

"It's a bit of a brotherhood, on the ground we play together and stick up for each other," he said.
