Jaguar's F-Pace will reportedly be its last combustion-powered model to roll down the production line, as it plans to axe five of its unprofitable offerings by the end of 2024.

Automotive News Europe reports JLR (formerly known as Jaguar Land Rover) has confirmed only the F-Pace SUV will remain in production past 2024, essentially becoming the only model in its entire lineup until its first new electric vehicle (EV) launches in 2025.
It appears the F-Pace has been given a stay of execution, after Automotive News Europe reported in March word from Jaguar it would bow out in June.
This also means Jaguar's plans to have an electric-only lineup by 2025 – first announced in 2021 – might not be met.
News of the electric I-Pace's early demise – originally due to conclude in 2027 – surfaced last year.
It was set to continue into 2025, though this latest report indicates it'll wrap up before the end of this year along with the XE, XF and E-Pace.
It's not yet known what impact this will have on Jaguar's Australian lineup, as there's no date for the reveal of the new EV nor timing on when it's due locally.
The five models which have ended or are ending production were generating a loss for Jaguar, according to JLR CEO Adrian Mardell.
"We are eliminating five products, all lower value. None of those are vehicles on which we made any money, so we are replacing them with new vehicles on newly designed architectures," said Mr Mardell, as reported by Automotive News Europe.
"We are going to lose products but they are not the rich ones."
Jaguar sold 5292 examples of the F-Pace globally between April and June, accounting for one-third of the brand's total sales.

While the F-Pace will potentially be Jaguar's only model in production for a short period of time, the British brand plans to launch an additional two EVs after the first new model debuts next year.
All three EVs are due to be built on a new platform called the Jaguar Electrified Architecture (JEA).
JLR has already faced backlash for its EV plans, with a group of Canadian dealers last month reportedly preparing to take legal action against the carmaker's plans to go electric.
In its desire to go "upmarket", JLR will reposition itself with higher prices and a smaller model lineup, leading to lower volumes and fewer dealers – triggering the proposed legal action.
