High-profile Warrnambool recruit Ben Cunnington lit up Reid Oval on Saturday in his side's 34-point round 12 Hampden league win against Cobden.
The former North Melbourne AFL star was unstoppable in the forward line, kicking six goals and assisting several more.
Blues coach Dan O'Keefe said after the match that Cunnington had been battling a foot complaint the past two months and told him after the match 'I haven't felt this good for a while'.
Koroit strengthened its grip on fifth spot and snapped a three match losing streak when it downed Camperdown by 39 points at Victoria Park.
Contenders South Warrnambool, North Warrnambool Eagles and Terang Mortlake all registered commanding wins.
In the Warrnambool and District league, Timboon Demons reminded everyone they aren't out of finals contention with a 66-point triumph against higher-ranked Kolora-Noorat.
Panmure also kept its finals hopes alive with a narrow upset win against Dennington.
The battle for fourth is going to be an interesting one in the final four rounds, with Dennington, Panmure, Kolora-Noorat and Timboon Demons all tied on 20 points.
