Steven Tougher, 29, was attacked during his meal break outside a McDonald's in southwest Sydney in mid-April.
His death was the first on-duty death of a paramedic in three decades, devastating his family, colleagues and heavily pregnant wife Madison Tougher.
Ms Tougher on Thursday evening revealed the couple's second child - Lily-Mae Stevie Tougher - had been born in mid-May.
"Madison and Lily-Mae, and big brother Kobi, are doing well and the extended family is very excited," the post by NSW Ambulance said.
"Madison reports her labour and birth were peaceful and calm, just like Steven's personality."
The family has asked for privacy.
