REIGNING Twenty20 Cup champion West Gambier will be able to tick something off its wish list if it goes back-to-back in the lucrative competition today.

The Roos picked up $10,000 from winning last year's cup, with 40 per cent going to Mount Gambier and District Cricket Association (MGDCA).
West captain Bray Stephenson said most of the remaining $6000 had been saved.
"We put a bit towards new cricket nets but we saved the rest because we're trying to get a turf ground," he said.
"If we took it out again this year, we would be able to get one."
West clashes with Colac and District club Warrion in today's semi-final, with the winner advancing to the $15,000-to-win grand final later this afternoon against either Allansford or Noorat.
The Roos booked an appearance in the competition after they triumphed in the MGDCA Twenty20 Cup last Friday night.
"Pretty much since we won it last year and saw what it was all about, we wanted to come back," Stephenson said.
"Last year we didn't feel we played our best cricket but we still managed to take it out."
The Roos' depth shone in the cup quarter-final on Sunday against Tatyoon, which set 8-115.
After Stephenson and fellow opening bowler Shane Dycer did not claim any wickets, three of its top-order batsmen failed to fire.
But the bowling efforts of Derek Sargeant (3-28) and Robbie Drenthen (3-24) and a solid unbeaten 46 from opener Peter Hawthorne helped West eclipse the Hawks on the second-to-last ball of the match.
"It was good to see other people stepping up," Stephenson said.
Hawthorne and teammates Niall and Stephen Easterbrook are former Warrnambool players, with the trio nominating Allansford as the team to beat.
Warrion is today aiming to snap the Roos' remarkable Twenty20 record, which stands at 16 unbeaten games.
Today's losing semi-finalists will take home $2500 while the cup runner-up pockets $5000.
