The 1996 HSV GTSR is build number 11 of just 85 ever built and is in original condition.
Lloyds Auctions chief operations officer, Lee Hames said it was an extremely rare Holden.
"The last time we saw the same model was September last year and we weren't sure when we would see one again," Mr Hames said.
"When we auctioned the GTSR last year it sold under the hammer for $1,000,000 and we expect that it will happen again with the increase in value of these classic cars.
"This GTSR is a very special vehicle and we're very excited to see how it goes on auction day."
The classic is finished in the rare XU-3 Yellah, the same colour the famous yellow taxis are finished in and is well presented in good condition.
