There were scenes of greater control at the Creswick Road COVID-19 testing site on Tuesday morning, but the number of those wanting to get tested was still substantial, illustrative of residents' discipline.

As of 10am, the line of cars along the service lane stretched to before Trench Street which runs parallel to the southern side of Bunnings Warehouse.
The flow of vehicles into the testing site was steadier than what it had been in previous days, although once inside the public car park, those wanting a test were divided into eight separate queues.

One traffic controller made comment to an awaiting patron about the day so far.
"A bit more organised today," he said, a sense of relief in his voice.
Another traffic controller was heard to make comment on the challenges of recent times and the fact interstate travellers had been swamping the site across the Christmas period.
Concerns were also expressed about the coming heat and a lack of bottled water at the site.
Three distinct teams were operating on the ground at the site on Tuesday morning. Traffic controllers were spaced along Creswick Road; within the car park itself was a separate group of workers maintaining the eight separate queues; and of course there were the nurses, with the patience of saints, continuing to fight the good fight against the cursed pandemic.
The 4Cyte Pathology testing site at the old Atlantic Hotel remained closed on Tuesday, as it had been on Monday, despite being initially advertised as open. 4Cyte Pathology's website indicates the Skipton Street site will open again on Wednesday between 8am and 4pm. These hours will apply for Thursday and Friday as well.
An appointment for a test at the UFS site on Dana Street can be made, with that facility open until 1pm on Tuesday. From Wednesday to Friday, it will be open from 9am until 5.30pm.
