Two new COVID-19 cases have been identified in Warrnambool overnight, South West Healthcare has revealed.
The two new cases increases the total in the region to nine - with three in Warrnambool, four in Moyne, one in Corangamite and one in Glenelg.
"Both cases are located in Warrnambool, with one case under investigation by the Public Health Unit and the other linked to a case in Melbourne where the person will be isolating," a South West Healthcare spokesman said.

There has been one new case of COVID-19 identified overnight in the south-west region.
South West Healthcare said on Saturday the positive case, which was identified in Warrnambool, would be isolating outside the region.
There are currently eight confirmed active cases in the region across four shires.

These include two active cases in Warrnambool, four in Moyne and one active case in both Corangamite and Glenelg shires.
There have been no new exposure sites identified in the region overnight.
