COVID case linked to Warrnambool's Lyndoch had no contact with residents, clients

In a statement, Lyndoch Living said no residents or community clients have been affected or require any testing.

The team member did not attend the workplace while symptomatic and is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

When the team member became symptomatic they immediately isolated and undertook testing.

"We have notified public health officials as required and are following the procedures recommended by the Department of Health and Communicable Diseases Network of Australia, along with advice from our infection control advisor," acting director of nursing Linda Miller said.

"At present, Lyndoch Living has no reasons to believe this case is not isolated or that there has been any transmission onsite.

"All team members considered a close contact are non-direct resident facing, fully vaccinated against COVID-19, have been contacted, and are isolating and undertaking testing.

"We have communicated the situation to team members, residents and families and will continue to keep them and our community informed," Ms Miller said.
