The reigning division two premier has returned to division one after a stint in the seconds and will vie to ruffle of the feathers of some of the association's most established clubs.
Tigers skipper Grant Cameron said the club felt the time was right to test itself against the South West Cricket Association's heavyweight clubs. He said the promotion had been the result of hard work.
"We always said we'd like to get back up there one day," he said.
"I don't think there's better timing than now. We've got a good nucleus of players and we're a pretty tight group. We hang a bit of shit on each other and it's a good atmosphere.

"We thought we might as well step up as we didn't just want to be heroes in divvy two - we thought the natural progression was to take the next step."
Woorndoo will field a similar side to the one which secured its grand final triumph in March. Cameron said the club had worked hard to recruit but felt many players had decided to stay put due to the uncertainty stemming from COVID-19.
Cameron said regardless of results, the promotion would be a major learning curve for his side.
"I think the best form defence is attack sometimes," he said.
"There's no point sitting there and not going out to have a crack. We're going out there to win, don't get me wrong.
"I've got no doubt the top clubs like Pomborneit and Mortlake will be hard to beat but I think you learn a lot more from a loss than you do a win.
"Those clubs have some handy cricketers. If we are losing, it'll be about talking to our boys and asking 'right, what's not working here?'. We're looking forward to that challenge."
Cricket was an individual team game, Cameron said, and added the season would be full of development for his players.
The upcoming South West Cricket Association campaign will start on Saturday, November 13.
