It is understood that there are large number of people attending the doctor's surgery again this morning and police have again been alerted to the situation.
On Wednesday about 2pm Colac police uniform officers and detectives went to the doctor's surgery in Colac's Woodrowvale Road.
When officers arrived there were about 300 cars parked at and around the surgery with people seeking exemptions from authorised worker mandatory COVID vaccinations after information was posted on social media.
People were moved on from the site and enquiries are being held into possible COVID chief health officer regulation breaches after it is believed that drivers came out of lockdown Melbourne trying to get an exemption.
A couple of weeks ago Premier Dan Andrews announced that Victoria's 1.25 million authorised workers had to be vaccinated by October 15.
A Victoria Police media liaison spokesman confirmed what has been unfolding in Colac.
"Police were called to a medical clinic on Woodrowvale Road, Elliminyt (south of Colac) about 1.50pm on Wednesday," he said.
"Police received reports of a large number of people gathering outside the clinic for vaccination exemptions.
"The crowd was dispersed without incident.
"Police are investigating if anyone in attendance breached the chief health officer's directions.
"Travelling from metropolitan Melbourne into regional Victoria for the purpose of obtaining a vaccination exemption is not a valid reason under the chief health officer's directions."
