The posters display sincere messages including: 'you're the best', 'thank you for keeping us safe and alive', 'you're my hero' and 'we salute you for protecting us and your frontline work'.
While others said 'thank you for saving our lives and putting your lives on the frontline' and 'thank you for risking your lives for ours, also for helping us in times and making us smile'.
IN OTHER NEWS:
School wellbeing co-ordinator Tonya Ferguson said the drawings were made during remote learning and it was something all ages could do. Some pictures were displayed in front windows at home, while others adorned the school fence.
Ms Ferguson said it was part of the school's ongoing gratitude lessons and the appreciation day also celebrated World Teachers' Day on October 5, leading to a number of workers, and parents who've taught them during remote learning being thanked.
"It was about showing appreciation for the frontline workers because of all the testing and vaccinations that are going on and it snowballed from there," Ms Ferguson said.
"Then there were other frontline workers they wanted to show their appreciation to. There's such a variety,"
