A new Tier 2 COVID-19 exposure site has been added to existing exposure sites announced on Friday, linked to people who travelled from the Greater Geelong area last weekend.
Quest Apartments Warrnambool has been listed as a Tier 2 site.
The exposure periods are Friday, October 1 between 2.30pm and 11.59 pm, Saturday, October 2 from 12am to 11.59pm and Sunday, October 3 from 12am to 10am.
Anyone who was at Warrnambool's Quest Apartments during those times is required to get tested and isolate until a negative test result is received.
The positive cases are not linked to the current cluster but are linked to people who travelled from the Greater Geelong area last weekend.
Friday 5.10pm: South West Healthcare has announced two more Tier 1 COVID-19 exposure sites.
Ichiban Izakayta on Koroit Street, Warrnambool on Friday, October 1, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm and the Pavilion Cafe and Bar on Saturday, October 2 between noon and 1pm are the new exposure sites.
It comes after the Deep Blue Hot Springs in Warrnambool was listed as a Tier 1 exposure site earlier on Friday afternoon.
If you have attended these sites, get tested. Isolate immediately until tested and do not visit anywhere.
Test and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result or unless advised differently from the public health unit.
The South Warrnambool Football Club testing site will be open from 2pm - 10pm.
Deakin University Testing Site is closed today.
Testing clinics open tomorrow:
- South Warrnambool Football Club will open be open from 7.30pm - 4pm.
- The COVID testing clinic at Merri Street is open 8am - 4pm. This clinic is only available via booking. To make an appointment please call 5563 1666 option 5.
EARLIER: South West Healthcare has issued an urgent warning to the community after COVID-19 positive cases visited a Warrnambool spa.
The Deep Blue Hot Springs in Warrnambool has been listed as a Tier 1 exposure site.
The positive cases are not linked to the current cluster but are linked to people who travelled from the Greater Geelong area last weekend.
Anyone who visited the venue on Saturday October 2 between 2.30pm and 5.30pm is urged to test and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result.
South West Healthcare said it expects more sites will be confirmed and will communicate this as soon as possible.
If you have attended this site, please get tested and follow the instructions provided. Isolate immediately until tested and do not visit anywhere.

In positive news, there have been no new cases identified so far today in the current cluster and there are no further households affected.
The total number of cases remains at 26 with:
- 17 active cases in Warrnambool across five households
- Four active cases in Moyne LGA across three households
- Five active cases being managed outside the region
There remains three active cases in Corangamite Shire and are all part of the original cluster in Corangamite reported on 24.09.2021
"To stop the spread of COVID-19 don't visit anyone in their homes or let anyone into your home if they don't live there," SWH said in a statement.
"Limit how much you move around the community, social distance and keep up your hand hygiene if in doubt, please get tested.
"We will continue to respond to the testing demands and will update this site immediately more information comes to hand.
"Thank you for all your support and for doing the right thing to keep our community safe.
It comes after the hospital revealed the majority of local people infected with COVID-19 in the south-west are not fully vaccinated.
A testing blitz is underway at Kirrae Health Service after three COVID-19 cases were identified in the Framlingham community this week and the Glenelg Shire community is urged to be cautious after COVID-19 fragments were detected in Portland wastewater.
