"Pretty much everything we've been working on this year all came together," she said of the 36-22 win against Russells Creek.
The victory was all the more impressive because the Creekers are pushing for a finals spot and desperately need the win themselves.
It's been a tough season with coronavirus pandemic interruptions but the seventh-ranked Dogs have battled on.

They will be looking to make it two in a row when they face Allansford on Saturday.
"That would be nice to string a couple of games together," Kenna said.
It was a tight first quarter between the Dogs and the Creekers, before Dennington got away.
"It was probably one of the best games the team has played which obviously showed on the scoreboard," Kenna said.
"We've been working hard on our attacking play and I felt like we had a good game before the lockdown and we were starting to gel and come together as a team."
Dennington's attacking circle pair, Zoe Fleming and Meg Attrill, were on fire.
"It was by far their best game," Kenna said.
"We've worked really hard on our structures in our goal end and I think it all clicked for them."
But the coach was quick to point out it was a consistent team effort that saw the Dogs claim victory.
Kenna was forced to think on her feet early in the season when Dennington lost reliable goalie Lani Keane (work commitments).
Fleming, a youngster, and Attrill, a recruit, have stepped up and are growing as a combination.
"It's taken this time to know how each other plays and using that in conjunction with our court structure and how we were trying to set up on Saturday," Kenna said.
While the Dogs can't make finals, they are keen to give ladder-leader Nirranda a run for its money in the final round.
The coach would be delighted if the group could show improvement on the scoreboard against the Blues (61-14 last time).
Kenna said the Dogs put up a good fight last time and were strong defensively.
