Media liaison officer Troy Logan said the Maskell Medal, which usually takes place on the Sunday after the preliminary final, was pencilled in for September 12.
Dates for junior vote counts, often held in August, are still being considered.

Logan said being adaptable was a focus, given the league was unsure what state government restrictions, if any, would be in place at those times.
"It's definitely been a topic of conversation," he said of best-and-fairest planning.
"As a league we value the events and want to celebrate individuals across the league who have performed strongly throughout a challenging season.
"We are weighing up all options how to best go about that at this stage.
"It will be subject to what the restrictions are. We have a few things at our disposal, whether it be live-streamed or in person."
Logan said the league would livestream the under 16 and under 14 football grand finals on Sunday, August 22.
He confirmed there would also be coverage of the two netball grades - 15 and under reserve and 13 and under reserve.
"We are excited for the league to showcase the talent of our juniors," he said.
Hampden confirmed on Thursday it would play from round 11 onwards when senior competitions returned after the latest statewide COVID-19 lockdown.
It could mean a maximum of four more rounds are completed.
Senior finals will start on Saturday, August 28.
Finals eligibility, which is usually four games, will be discussed given the usual 18-game home-and-away season has been reduced.
"There is certainly details we still need to work through in preparation for finals," Logan said.
"It is uncertain at this stage whether current finals eligibility will be affected."
