The Warrnambool footballers, who are part of the Blues' under 16 side, have been teammates since their Auskick days.
The pair is now hoping to contribute to Greater Western Victoria Rebels' cause at the V/Line Cup - an annual statewide competition for promising footballers aged 15 and under - later this year.

They were selected in the squad after impressing for Hampden in practice matches against Goldfields and South West regions in Ararat in the most recent school holidays.
GWV Rebels will have two boys' teams compete at the V/Line Cup in Shepparton in September and will also enter a girls' side.
They will have three more training sessions before the competition.
Mast said Radley, who is likely to line up at centre-half-forward but can also play in defence and the ruck, would be a major contributor for the Rebels.
"I think Amon is in the side because he's a big body and a great player," he said.
"He is good at pack-marking, has good skills and goal-kicking."
Radley was likewise full of praise for Mast, who is one of his classmates at Emmanuel College.
"He has a lot of athleticism, speed, strength and he can just move around anyone I reckon," he said.
"He's a great player all round."
Radley, who initially thought he'd missed out after a communication mix up, said he was eager to make a good impression.
He said having Mast alongside him was a bonus.
"It is so relieving honestly, having one of your mates going up with you," Radley said.
Mast agreed, saying he was eager to play with his long-time mate.
They have also teamed up on the basketball court for Warrnambool Seahawks' junior rosters.
"It is good because we've grown up playing footy together," he said.
"It's good to stick together. It is exciting to see how far you can take your footy and just learn something new.
"I want to keep developing and become a better player."
The GWV Rebels' teams are formed from the Hampden and South West squads.
The boys' squad will be split into two teams closer to the V/Line Cup.
Hamilton Kangaroos have the largest representation with six boys selected while Cobden's bright future will be on display with five Bombers picked.
Four South Warrnambool footballers, who play in the Western Victoria Female Football League, made the girls' side.
