Cr Jellie is urging people to abide by the state government restrictions, but to also consider shopping locally for meals and supplies if possible.
"I would ask everyone to support local businesses," she said.
"If you can, get home delivery or order online with click and collect from businesses across the entire city."

She encouraged people to get outside and enjoy some fresh air, while ensuring they followed the rules.
"The two hours of exercise allowed per day is very important for everyone," she said.
"It gets you out of the house for physical exercise and it's also good for our mental health.
"In this lockdown time it's very important as we know everyone struggles."
She also urged people to get vaccinated if they were eligible.
"Go and get your immunisation," she said.
"You could go for your walk and go to the vaccination centre at the old Sam's Warehouse as well."
Cr Jellie said she would be working from home during the seven-day lockdown.
On Friday she took an exercise break mid-morning and strolled down Liebig Street, following the Department of Health and Human Services' strict regulations.
She said it was important that residents followed the advice issued by the state government.
"We understand it is enormously frustrating for people to have to once again contend with a lockdown," Cr Jellie said.
"But we know that lockdowns are effective at helping to control the spread of the virus.
"We must remember that COVID-19 has claimed the lives of more than 800 Victorians.
"It's a time to think about friends, family and doing our bit to help stop the spread of what is a deadly virus."
