The 2020 number one draft pick won't be playing this weekend, due to postponement of VFL games as a result of Victoria's snap seven-day coronavirus lockdown, but his AFL teammates will wear the special jumper in the top-of-the-table clash against Melbourne at Marvel Stadium on Friday night.
"It's a great opportunity because the boys are running out in indigenous jerseys, and they love it as well," he said on the Western Bulldogs' weekly podcast.

"Everyone looks forward to seeing their guernsey and the design on them and we go out and train in them and it'll be unreal.
"I love seeing the boys smile when they put the indigenous jerseys on.
"I'm especially looking forward to this week because whatever happens Friday, whether we get the win on or not, we will all be representing our indigenous families anyway. It's unreal."

The Western Bulldogs 2021 Sir Doug Nicholls Round guernsey design is a reflection of family history for former player Lindsay Gilbee and the Boandik people of Mt Gambier.
Ugle-Hagan, who is yet to make his AFL debut but played multiple at VFL level, said he looked up to a Brisbane Lion legend and Gunditjmara and Wiradjuri man.
"I went to Scotch College with Lachie Johnson, which is Chris Johnson's son, and I got to connect with his family a lot and he looked after me like a Melbourne dad kind of thing," he said.

"I used to stay at his every weekend and go to games with them sometimes.
"He was always that tough guy on you and he would always push you and stuff like that and you'd know about it but it's good because he is a three-time premiership player so you just look up to him."
The emerging key forward, who hails from Framlingham, said he was overwhelmed when a number of star indigenous AFL players messaged him before he was drafted.
"On draft night I received a couple of messages before the draft from Eddie Betts, Charlie Cameron and a couple of others," he said.
"When they see you they'll say 'congratulations' and they know, it's crazy how they notice stuff even though you're playing in the same league.
"I still feel special because last year I was just a kid watching the AFL but now I'm in the league and it's pretty exciting."
