The Kolora-Noorat junior has not missed a game for Ben Walsh's senior side this Warrnambool and District league season, playing all seven rounds.
"My goals for the season were to just get as many senior games as I could, just play my role and hopefully contribute as much as I can to get the boys a win," the 17-year-old said.
The forward has kicked 20 goals this season, including eight against Timboon Demons in round seven, and is enjoying playing alongside two prominent key forwards.
"Kicking a few goals really helped me with my confidence and hopefully I can keep doing that and playing my role," he said.

"Ben (Walsh) has got me to play deep forward and I've found it really good playing around Ben Fraser and Jacob Mahony. They have been teaching me a lot and telling me what to do.
"A lot of the boys have helped me out this season so far. Ben Walsh, Ben Fraser, Jacob Mahoney and Scott Judd, those boys and a couple more have really helped me adjust to senior footy."
Hutchins, who lives in Terang, said he had experienced a number of learning curves as he adjusted to senior football.
"My first season of senior footy has been a lot faster than juniors and took a couple games to get really used to," he said.
"Biggest learning curve would be faster decision making, since the game is a lot faster you don't have a lot of time to get rid of the ball.
"I did have to adjust a little bit because I am a bit smaller out on the field so I probably can't go as hard as I do in juniors."
