The Cats edged closer to the Warrnambool and District league's top five with a 12.10 (82) to 6.9 (45) victory over Old Collegians on Saturday.
"It was really good to have a good, solid win," he said. "It was a tight game up until half-time but then we got on top through the third. It was a good convincing win.

"We have played four quarters of footy for three weeks in a row. The main thing we are emphasising is we are identifying when teams get a run on and we are then controlling the game.
"It's through possessing the footy and the new rules are great and allow us to play on but we are about slowing down and building into a attacking position."
Price said his side would work on a number of things at training this week.

"Our use of the ball by hand still needs to be worked on, to hit that handball receive and putting teammates in a better position," he said.
Connor Bellman kicked four goals for the Cats while Mitch Gristede nailed three majors.
Jeremy Ellis was named best on ground with Robbie Hare also one of the Cats' best.
