Greater Western Victoria Rebels' girls side scored its first victory of the NAB League season in style on Saturday.

The Rebels led at every change as they secured the points with an 11.6 (72) to 4.4 (28) victory over the Murray Bushrangers in Bendigo.

South Warrnambool's Stella Bridgewater collected 13 disposals while her fellow Rooster Rosie Pickles collected 14 and kicked a goal.
Hamilton Kangaroos' Paige Kissell nailed two goals from her seven disposals. Portland's Elli Aitken had eight disposals.
In the opening round the Geelong Falcons defeated the Rebels by 10 points. Round two match against Bendigo Pioneers was cancelled due to the recent statewide coronavirus lockdown.
Meanwhile, Emma Kearney's North Melbourne suffered their second loss of the AFLW season on Saturday.
The 20-point loss to Collingwood was also their second consecutive defeat to a finals fancy after losing to Melbourne last week.
The Kangaroos only managed to score eight behinds in the humbling defeat. Kearney finished with 15 disposals.
Georgia Clarke, Renee Saulitis and Maria Moloney were all not selected by their teams this weekend.
