WELL Defined made it two country cup wins in succession for Bendigo trainer Kate Hargreaves when he took out the Terang Trotters Cup on Saturday night.

The six-year-old, with Ellen Tormey in the sulky, edged out fellow imported trotter Robbie Royale and Scruffy Doolan.
Tormey was also in the sulky for the win at the Ararat Cup a week earlier.
Joel Mathews, a owner with a horse in Hargreaves' stable speaking on her behalf in Terang, was pleased with the victory.

"It was absolutely amazing and we thought we were up against it tonight but Kate was really confident," he said. "It's exciting and good for all the connections.
"(The instructions) were go to the lead, ping off as he usually does form a standing start and get cover as well and it worked out beautifully."
South-west-trained horses Sparking Success (John Meade) and pre-race favourite Pink Galahs (Mattie Craven) finished just outside of the places.
Earlier in the night Marg Lee got the first winner from the south-west camp when Highway to Heaven, with Glen Craven in the sulky, won race four.
