A teenage girl and a woman have died in a two-car crash at Mount Richmond in southwest Victoria.

Emergency services responded to the head-on collision between a Jeep Cherokee and a Holden Trax on the Portland-Nelson Road at about 10.25am on Thursday.
Victoria Police said the driver of the Holden, a 16-year-old girl and the front seat passenger, a 43-year-old woman, both from Mount Richmond, died at the scene.
A 15-year-old girl in the rear passenger seat sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital.
The driver of the Jeep, a 50-year-old man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
