Warrnambool City Croquet Club president Judy Stewart is feeling on top of the world.
For much of this year it seemed 2020 championships just weren't meant to be.
But the state government's easing of coronavirus pandemic restrictions in recent weeks has the club set to host the Golf Croquet South West Regional Championship on Saturday from 10am.

Stewart said the event was supposed to held about April this year.
The championship, which Stewart said had been going about five years, will see players from Warrnambool, Koroit, Portland and Terang converge on the Cramer Street lawns.
It's Warrnambool's turn to host with it also rotated between Portland and Terang.
Stewart explained there were three divisions - first, second and third - divided by handicaps.
Life golf, the best players have the lowest handicaps. The top division players have a handicap of five or under.
Warrnambool had its club championship recently to decide who would represent the club at regionals.
Peter Burke won the open competition while John Pattison won the 10 plus (handicap) division.
Burke will represent WCCC in division two and Diana Sargent will be the club's representative in division three on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Warrnambool will host the South West Region Association Championships on December 5. They were meant to be held in March.
Golf croquet is a short-form of the traditional association croquet which runs for about two hours.
WCCC is offering social croquet on Sundays from 10-12pm. There is also a twilight social session each Friday from 4pm.
