Only drivers and pit crew have been allowed at the track this year but spectators are now permitted due to the state government's latest coronavirus restrictions.
"My sister and mum, they couldn't come before but now they can come and watch me and that's really good because I'll have more support and it's better having them there," Ryan said.

WKC has benefited from the state government's announcement outdoor sports can have up to 50 people with an overall cap of 500 patrons (subject to density quotient of one per four square metres).
Karting Australia released a statement Monday confirming this.
Ryan's dad Jason, club vice-president, said the track would be operating at full capacity as it only catered for 32 drivers.
WKC will host the fourth and final round of the Inter Club Challenge which started in October.
Jason explained only four clubs were hosting the series but any club could enter this Sunday's event.
Cobden-based South West Kart Club and Ballarat Kart Club hosted the first two rounds.
Wimmera Kart Racing Club hosted the third event earlier this month.
Cook, in the KA3 senior medium class, has competed in all three rounds.
"It's been really good racing people from other clubs and having that competition back and the feeling of being able to race good drivers again," he said.
"Not just the same people each week."
The 16-year-old, who had intended to compete in all Australian Kart Championship (AKC) events this year, only got to the first one at Tailem Bend.
He has his fingers crossed he can attend meets around Australia next year.
"The next few months I'll have a break and then hopefully next year we'll be getting back into it and everything should be open and we'll be able to get up to the New South Wales and Queensland rounds of nationals," he said.
Jason said 45 participants had already registered for Sunday's meet with about 80 expected. Racing is on 10am-4pm.
The vice-president added WKC had 32 members at the start of the year and had grown to 50 competing members.
