TOUGH jumper Police Camp rounded out his preparation for Tuesday's Grand Annual Steeplechase with an impressive school over 20 fences at Warrnambool on Sunday.

Jumps jockey Thomas Sadler, who rode Police Camp in the school, told trainer Simon Ryan the six-year-old was in good shape for the 5500-metre race.
Irish-born jumps jockey Tom Ryan will replace Sadler for the ride in Tuesday's race.

The Warrnambool-based trainer said he wanted Police Camp to have a good look around the tricky track before the Grand Annual.
"I'm very happy with Police Camp," Simon Ryan said. "I wanted to familiarise Police Camp with the last road double by going left and he did it very well.
"Thomas was very happy with how Police Camp performed. We started making plans regarding a run in this year's Grand Annual after Police Camp won the Thackeray Steeplechase on a heavy track at Warrnambool in July last year."
Police Camp and the Shayne Fisher-trained Fulmineus were the only two horses that schooled in the final lead-up to the Annual.
Young jumps jockey Bradley Thomas-Rantall rode Fulmineus in the school and has his first ride in Australia's premier jumping race.
Warrnambool Racing Club racecourse manager Daniel Lumsden said he was hopeful the course would be rated a soft seven.
The Grand Annual is at 3.45pm while the Brierly Steeplechase and Galleywood Hurdle are the other feature races on the program.
