Warrnambool catering business Tasty Plate is preparing 750 frozen meals each week for delivery to vulnerable people in response to coronavirus.

Tasty Plate executive manager Anna Maloney said the catering service had developed a menu of high-quality, nutritious meals made from locally-sourced ingredients.
"We have commenced cooking meals to deliver to the most vulnerable members of our community as part of a widespread food relief system," she said.
"Menu items include traditional beef lasagna, beef and black bean, Guinness stew and quiches, with vegetarian and gluten free options."
The food is prepared in Tasty Plate's Fairy Street kitchen, and stored in freezers at Fairy Street, the Archie Graham Community Centre and South West TAFE.
"Our ovens are hot, our freezers are filling up and we are ready to contribute to keeping people healthy and happy in their homes," Ms Maloney said.
Meals will be delivered to people in need through local organisations supporting the communities most vulnerable.
Currently clients of Brophy Family and Youth Services, Bethany Community Support, Gunditjmara, Salvo Connect Warrnambool, WRAD, MacKillop Family Services, Mpower, Warrnambool City Council Family Services, and Emma House can contact their caseworker to be assessed for meals support.
The production of 3000 meals has been supported by the Alan Lane Foundation, Thomas O'Toole Foundation, Gall Family Foundation and the A & H Graham Foundation.
Community agencies that would like to partner with Brophy to provide frozen meals to their clients can contact Brophy on 1300 BROPHY.
