Last week Cycling Victoria strongly urged all member clubs to cease group rides, coaching and events until May 31 to help combat the spread of the virus.
The federal government's restrictions on gatherings - from 10 down to two - also means riders are limited to solo or duo rides with people they live with or family.
Warrnambool Cycling Club secretary Richard Adams said going into the winter months this would be a challenge for individuals but believed its members would remain committed to riding.
"The bunch rides and getting out and riding with friends is a way to motivate you so this will be a bit of a challenge," he said.

"Personally I have been getting out in the afternoon with my son but not everyone has that opportunity.
"But it also might be a good opportunity for parents to get out with their kids and go for a ride.
"Some of the concerns are around mental health and connecting with people but we just have to work out ways of connecting in other ways."
Adams said the club's committee was staying in contact with its members and would be continuing to check in on them over the coming months.
He added that going solo would help a number of its members become stronger riders.
