For some, archery could be the answer.
Archers of Warrnambool club captain David Reid said it was business as usual for the club at this stage.
"We can maintain the distance of 1.5 metres (away from another person) quite easily both on our indoor and outdoor ranges and within our clubroom," he said.
"The only measures we need to take are the addition of hand sanitiser and waste receptacles (bins)."
Reid said he was keeping up with the latest federal government advice and would respond appropriately to updates.
"We've got to be responsible about things," he said.
"If those guidelines change, we'll change with them."

The club captain said the safety of members and guests was of paramount importance.
Archers of Warrnambool is at Duram Park which is just by Lake Gillear near Allansford.
The club has come-and-try sessions every Saturday from 11am-1pm.
"If we get too many (people), we've got a 90-metre outdoor range as well," Reid said.
"So we're very equipped in relation to that."
Reid added the group had large clubrooms which would help with social distancing.
None of the club's competitions have been interrupted yet due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Archers of Warrnambool has an indoor league on Friday nights and club shoot practice on Tuesday nights.
