The GCA won the toss and elected to bat first at Queen Elizabeth Oval and were eventually bowled out in 38.1 overs for a total of 107.
Mailors Flat batsman Phillip Edwards, who opened alongside captain Justin Coates, was the side's top scorer with 39 runs.
Edwards' 54-ball stand included six boundaries. Jaosn Elliot (15) and Corey McKenzie (10) were the side's next best batsmen.

Emu Valley took 24.5 overs to reach the GCA's total with five wickets to spare to claim the opening game of the tournament.
Yambuk's Tyson Umbers was one of the side's best bowler, finishing with 2-30 from his eight overs.
Hawkesdale leader Lachie Glare was tidy with the ball taking 1-18 from his eight overs, three of those maidens. Country Week debutants Oscar Sanderson (1-26) and Ben Howarth (1-11) also chipped in.
The GCA are back in action on Tuesday against Goulburn Murray.
