Organisers expect almost 100 junior cricketers to descend on Killarney Recreation Reserve on Sunday for the John McDonald Junior Clinic.
The clinic - started to honour the late John 'Jakes' McDonald - has again drawn some of the region's top coaches as instructors.
Multiple Woodford premiership coach John Houston and skipper Nick Butters are among those set to teach juniors of all ages.
All we're trying to do is get kids out there playing cricket again.
- Rhys Dews
Grassmere Cricket Association president Rhys Dews said the clinic was designed to keep children interested in the sport.
"All we're trying to do is get kids out there playing cricket again and create that bit of interest," he said.
"We've paired it with our Twenty20 round as the format is all the rage at the moment with the Big Bash and everything.

"That's what the kids are watching. Hopefully we can draw them in and get them playing cricket in the future."
Registrations will open from 1pm. The clinic will begin from 2.30pm, one hour before the association's Twenty20 final.
The association will offer a series of prizes and a limited amount of children's showbags at the event.
Organiser Glenn Mansbridge said a collection tin to help Australians affected by drought would also be passed around the recreation reserve.
