Rotary Club of Warrnambool East member Ian Heard said participant numbers had been "enormous".
"It's been terrific. There's a lot of youngies coming along and we have our locals and holiday-makers out too," he said. "It was our biggest-ever opening day on Boxing Day."
Mr Heard said south-west businesses had been "magnificent" in their support and sponsorship of the event.
"We can really thank them for the success that we've had with it," he said.
