Dennington, which won the 2015/16/17 premierships, is hoping to taste the ultimate success again.
Kenna hopes her Hampden league experience can help her new club.
She said she was big on the basics.
"It's about getting really good position on the court and making sure they play smoothly," she said.
"And keeping possession and being really clean with their skills."
Kenna coached the Eagles open grade side from 2012-14 and was Camperdown's top-grade coach in 2018.
She said her daughters Ange Northcott and Maddie Solly were part of the reason she joined Dennington.
They have been both playing for the Warrnambool and District league club for the past two seasons.
