RECENTLY retired Australia pro-cyclist Mark Renshaw is eager to share stories from his decorated 16-year career at the Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Classic's dinner.

The former Franaise des Jeux, Crédit Agricole, HTC-Highroad, Belkin Pro Cycling, Etixx-Quick-Step and Team Dimension Data rider will attend the classic's Legends of Cycling Dinner on February 15.
Renshaw, 37, who retired as a professional in July, formed an integral part of the lead-out team for British sprint legend and 30-time Tour de France stage winner Mark Cavendish.
"I'll give a broad overview of the last 16 years in the sport and there is lots of stories I can share, such as big career moments," he said of what he plans to talk about at the dinner.
"It (the partnership with Cavendish) is the biggest thing in cycling and there is a lot of success with Mark and I'm happy to share some stories about that and how the relationship worked on and off the bike.
"There maybe even be an insight into why we were so successful."

The Bathurst resident, who participated in 10 Tour de Frances, said he never got the chance to compete in a "Warrny" during his time as a pro due to often being tied up with his duties over in Europe.
"I would have loved to do more racing in Australia but the problem is the calendar is so jam-packed with races and when I came back I was happy to take time off and recover," he said.
The father-of-three - who is enjoying time with his children Will, 7, Olly, 3, and Maggie, seven months - said he was excited to be a fan watching Australia's oldest one-day race.
"It will be good to come down as I know a lot of guys on the national series and I'm looking forward to coming down and watching the racing in Australia as I haven't seen a lot here," he said.
Renshaw, who still continues to ride his bike around his hometown as much as possible, said the Melbourne to Warrnambool was often mentioned by other Australian professional cyclists on the European circuit.
