RETURNING Old Collegians A grade mentor Jess Toleman believes her side needs a little more fine-tuning before it becomes a true premiership contender.

The 32-year-old takes on the role solo after spending three seasons as co-coach alongside Meagan Forth.
The duo led the Warriors to seventh in their first season before two fourth-placed finishes as they stormed into finals the past two years.
The mother-of-three highlighted the mid-court as a key area of improvement for the Warriors, who are eager to return to a grand final for the first time since 2015.
"We're very lucky we have some great target shooters and where everyone gets the chance to shine," she said.
"Hopefully we can pick up that defensive end as well but through the mid-court we would like to pick up a bit."

Toleman is also dedicated to junior development through the likes of experienced coaches such as Sara Quinn (17 and under).
She hopes to unearth more young stars like emerging goalies Chelsea Quinn and Maggie Kline, who formed a formidable team last season.
"We are really looking at where the development is and its in some of those younger girls coming through our netball works," she said.
"I'm going to be working very hard and with some great junior coaches at Collegians this season and that is really exciting with Sara Quinn doing the 17s.
"Her and I will be working together quite in depth to help make Collegians grow up and have those kids flourish up into the senior ranks in the next few years."
Toleman said a number of the Warriors' A grade side had re-committed to the club for 2020, adding that excitement was already brewing amongst her ranks.
