WARRNAMBOOL EKB Fitness and Aerobics junior grande team stormed to high-placed finish at the FISAF International World Championships in Leiden, Netherlands over the weekend.

The R.E.S.P.E.C.T team of Maddison Drake, Hayley Dalton, Brianna Kilpatrick, Alana Bellman, Charli Toone, Mia McDowall and Tijana Kelly represented their club and region at the championships in the Dutch city from October 10-12.
After a consistent three rounds the seven-strong team finished sixth overall in the junior grande aerobic teams competition to progress to the final.
In the final they would hold their overall ranking after the five judges ranked them fourth, sixth, sixth, sixth and sixth based on their final routine.
The R.E.S.P.E.C.T team, which is named after Aretha Franklin song of the same name, had to make the top seven after the first three rounds to qualify for finals.

Warrnambool EKB Fitness and Aerobics leader and coach Emma Chapman said she was proud of the team's "amazing" performance.
"The athletes head space was great going into each and every round and their routines were all very consistent," she said.
"The junior girls, who are aged between 14-17, are really pleased with their efforts and results and their coaches are extremely proud. We also received great feedback from the judges."
The junior grande team was coached by Chapman, Sophie Bellman and choreographed by Brenton Andreoli.
A Czech Republic team would eventually go on to win the world championship with Russia not far behind in second. Another two Czech teams were in third and fourth.
Two other Australian teams featured in the grade with one finishing just ahead of the R.E.S.P.E.C.T team in fifth while the other placed eighth.
