INACCURACY in front of goal was one of many factors in Nirranda falling at the last hurdle, according to co-coach Shane Threlfall.

The Blues registered 3.14 across four quarters as Kolora-Noorat stormed home in the second half to back-to-back Warrnambool and District league premiership flags from their clutches.
Threlfall, whose future as a co-leader alongside Shane Quick will be decided by the club in the next few weeks, conceded his side's errors cost it dearly.
"We got out of the blocks well but we just didn't hit the scoreboard positively enough early," he said.
"Then in the second we were still playing really well and I thought some of our mistakes let them in for a couple of goals so at half-time, if we had of taken our opportunities, the scoreboard might've been more positive.
"But then to the Power's credit their second half was terrific. Their skill level really rose and they started hitting their targets and their quick ball movement and leg speed certainly got a hold of us by the end of the day."

Despite heading into the final break facing a three-goal deficit, Threlfall and Quick were still confident their troops could mount a comeback against the wind.
"Our group never gives up and we always think we're a chance until the end," Threlfall said.
"At three-quarter-time we were really positive we could finish the job but to their credit they were full of run."
Threlfall found four-quarter performers.
"I thought Luke Weel did a great job and he was wounded (corked thigh) but he has a big heart and he was terrific on (Ben) Fraser and they always have a good contest and today was no exception," he said.
"Our big ruckman, big 'Noxe' (Ratu Inoke) won a lot of taps and competed really well all day. Johno Benallack, one of our inside midfielders, did a good job.
"Will Paulin was good. His run and ability to carry the ball is always good for us. They are probably four that I'd say played pretty well."
