We speak to players from different generations - South Warrnambool 300-gamer Peta van Bruggen, 40, North Warrnambool Eagles mates Izzy McDowall and Sophie Jellie, both 11, and Kolora-Noorat goal shooter Lily Baker, 15.
Van Bruggen, who is also an umpire, has played every grade for the Roosters since joining the Hampden league club as an 18-year-old.
She is currently in the Roosters' division three team.
North Warrnambool Eagles goal shooter Victoria Grundy also tells us how she is combining so well with Skye Billings in the team's goal circle.
