"It would mean a lot," the 25-year-old said.
"Koroit are going to be the benchmark again and that's a credit to them. But I'd rather beat them in September than early May."

Turland, set for a two-week spell on the sidelines after spraining his ankle against Camperdown last week, will be replaced in the Blues' side by his brother Beau.
But the 25-year-old was in good spirits at training on Thursday and said he was proud of the fact Warrnambool boasted nine players in the Hampden league's 45-man squad picked to take on Ballarat at Mars Stadium.
These include Will Jacobs, Sam Cowling, Jye Turland, Jackson Bell, Daniel Weymouth, Luke Cody, Alex Shipperd, Damien McCorkell and Darren Ewing.
"There's blokes who have taken the step from being above average players to getting their first crack at the squad," Turland said.
"So it's a testament to their pre-season and willingness to push themselves."
Koroit, meanwhile, has 11 players picked in the interleague side, with several players past representatives.
But Saints coach Chris McLaren singled out Alex Pulling and Lachie Rhook.
"They've put in more work than anyone at the club to become good players," he said. "It's a great reward."
