NICK Sheehan knew his first change after taking the coaching reigns of Old Collegians' senior side would be installing a refreshed mindset in his players.

The first-year coach was quick to refocus his players mentality during the pre-season after three successive grand final defeats.
"It's new for me coming in and not being involved in the losses but one thing I've said from the beginning is it's a fresh start," Sheehan said. "We will start from scratch and try and go forward from there. We have got a few blokes who have been at successful clubs and we want to continue to drive a winning culture."
The Warriors have lost the past three grand finals to Nirranda (2016 and 2018) and Kolora-Noorat (2017).
The club, who have eight Warrnambool and District League flags to their name, has not tasted ultimate success since 1992.
But the Warriors have never been far from many of the grand finals in the past 20 years, featuring in five deciders since 2000.
Sheehan has been busy on bolstering his player stocks with former Port Fairy defender Mason Crosier and Koroit pair Ben Turner-Dwyer and Tayne McDonald joining the club in the off-season.
The Warriors also look set to welcome back Michael Lambevski and Lachlan Young from long-term injuries. Old Collegians will open its season with an away grand final rematch against Nirranda on April 6.
