Shoppers recalled their memories of Friday night shopping as traders stayed open later in a bid to revive the Warrnambool CBD.

Franca store owner Jan Francis said it was a great innovation. “You really need the traders to band together so when (organiser and Phinc owner) Tracey (Togni) got in touch I was more than happy to participate,” she said. “You’ve got to start somewhere and bring some life back into the town. People are reminiscing and saying ‘I remember when late night shopping was a thing.”
