That’s the reality and return for Woodford duo Alex Jennings and Tommy Jackson this season.
The talented pair were crucial cogs in the Eels’ under 17 Twenty20 and two-day grand final triumphs, before suiting up again for the club’s division one side in its one and two day premierships.
Jackson, who is bound for Victorian Premier Cricket outfit Geelong next season, said he was thrilled to be a part of yet another premiership.
“It’s good always having success, and with winning flags with your team, it’s something to remember,” he said.
Jennings, who linked up with the Eels in October on the back of a season with Nestles, hailed the coaching at the club as vital to his development.
“To get the first three premierships this season was a great feeling, but this was the one we wanted,” he said.

“Hooter’s coaching has helped to improve a lot this year. “All of the boys help with coaching you in one way or another. Tom Batten with my batting, Nick Butters with my bowling.”
