Wannon MP Dan Tehan has been marked as a favourite to take over the health or sport portfolio following the resignation of Sussan Ley, however, Mr Tehan remained tight-lipped on Monday.

“These are decisions which are made by the Prime Minister,” Mr Tehan said. “I am obviously very honoured to be doing what I’m doing and very keen to continue on in my current role and obviously any decisions made around a reshuffle will be made by the Prime Minister.
“My view is the minimal amount of change, the better, so everyone can continue on doing their jobs.”
Mr Tehan, whose duties include serving as Minister for Veterans’ Affairs and Minister for Defence Personnel, said a decision was likely this week.
“Obviously I’ve always made it very clear that I would serve in whatever manner and however the Prime Minister wants me to serve,” he said. “My hope is that I can continue doing what I’m doing.”
