Volunteers will be stationed on Raglan Parade at the intersections of Banyan Street, Fairy Street and Caramut Road. For the first time they will be at the intersection of Horne Road and Mahoneys Road.
The South West Region Royal Children’s Hospital Auxiliary raised over $20,000 for the appeal last year.
Auxiliary president Janine Sheen said increased numbers of volunteers were needed to aid fundraising efforts, especially at the extra set of traffic lights.
“Last year we raised over $20,000 and we hope to top that number this year,” Mrs Sheen said.
“You have to be 16 or older to volunteer with us and people can help for an hour or the whole day.
“Every little bit helps.”
Mrs Sheen said the shift would be from 8 until 5.
Interested volunteers should call 5560 7379.
