TRAFFIC lights at the intersection of Rooneys Road and Princes Highway have been switched on. A woman was left with serious injuries last week after a crash at the intersection and Acting Senior Sergeant Sean Halley, from Warrnambool police, said the lights would help avoid similar accidents. The Warrnambool woman’s vehicle and a B-double truck collided on Thursday night. The woman, aged in her 50s, sustained serious head injuries and was airlifted from the scene.
