THE premier has snapped up a picturesque photo of Yambuk’s coastline and wind turbines, taken by Warrnambool’s Josh Beames.

Daniel Andrews’ office got in touch with Beames this month, asking to use his photo on a Facebook post about wind energy.
“I’m pretty happy to get my name out there,” he said.
Beames, whose photos can be found on Instagram under BMZgram, said his account had reached almost 12,000 followers and attracted an extra 500 after the premier posted his windfarm image.

“I still can’t believe they put that up,” he said.
“I thought it was a fake account so I jumped on and could see it was clearly legit.”
The self-taught photographer has been shooting nature landscapes for about 12 months but said it was this year that he had really been “having a crack”.
“It’s sheerly a hobby,” he said. “If it leads into something, sweet, but I’ve still got so much to learn.
“It’s so good around here. We’ve got so much to take photos of.”
