The Killarney-based singer-songwriter is part of a line-up that includes international headliner Sandi Thom.
Joining them will be Melbourne-based folk-rock Zeptepi, who have crafted a large national following via five albums and performances at the Port Fairy Folk Festival, National Celtic Festival and a previous visit to the Koroit Irish Festival.
Also returning is acclaimed Irish-Australian singer Maria Forde.
Another highlight will be Mildura’s Sibin, who blend modern punk-rock sounds with the traditions of Celtic folk. They have just released a new album, Industrial Life.
Local artists won’t miss out, with The Kilmurphys, The Rusty O’Bucks, Kayla Dwyer, Cill-Airne and Fingerboard Road.
Returning favourites are Ballarat’s Scuffins & The Kat and Tommy, Tuddy & Mick.
Buskers at the event will include The Rubberband, Ryan O’Shea Irish Dancers, Irish Pipers, Warrnambool Ukulele Group and The Tin Shedders.
Festival-goers should also watch out for two big competitions on the weekend — the annual Danny Boy Championships and the new youth music contest, the Beks-Bowman Memorial Award.
