The former news reporter-turned-talk show presenter is one of The Circle's four presenters. The popular program is a morning talk show on Channel 10.
The show defeated Sunrise, Hey Hey It's Saturday and Good News Week to claim the prize.
Mrs Coghlan said it was a shock to win the award for a show that is considered to be "little".
"We are so, so thrilled. After only just over a year on air this far exceeds our greatest expectation," she said.
"It's not only a win for us but it's a win for our incredibly loyal viewers. They are the heart and soul of the show. Who would have thought such a little show could take home a Logie? We can't wait to celebrate with our viewers."
Mrs Coghlan (nee Rendell) grew up in Warrnambool, attending St Ann's College. She married Ballarat businessman Simon Coghlan in October last year.
