WHEN Unisex Cuts hairdressers in Liebig Street got its Telstra landline reconnected last Saturday, staff thought the setbacks to the business caused by the Telstra outage were coming to an end.

However, their troubles are not over because incoming calls are being diverted to another telephone number.
The business is one of several Telstra customers that have reported problems with their landline telephone service following its reconnection after the Telstra fire.
Emma Baulch, a hairdresser at Unisex Cuts, said a Warrnambool resident had come into the business to report she had received dozens of calls for the business.
Ms Baulch said the crossed line had meant that customers could not ring up to make or cancel appointments.
However, since Unisex Cuts operated principally on a no-appointment basis, the impact of the crossed line on its trade had been minimal.
“Most people have still come in and we have been busy,” Ms Baulch said.
Telstra corporate affairs manager James Howe said customers who had a crossed line or needed other assistance to reconfigure their telephone service should ring 1800 073 900.
Mr Howe said technicians will be on duty for as long as it took to sort out the problems.
